OUR VISION

Philosophy

The Chief Executives Round Table (CERT), introduced in 1977, is designed for leaders in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to enhance executive performance. It is sponsored and managed by the Professional Development Institute of the University of North Texas, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational foundation for the benefit of the University of North Texas in Denton. Members meet regularly at breakfast meetings to discuss specific topical issues with guest speakers. A highlight each year is the annual retreat. The diverse membership is driven almost entirely by referral and is by invitation only. Each candidate is sponsored by a current member. The membership committee reviews the applications and provides the appropriate recommendation. Participants include senior officers of public companies, leading entrepreneurs, prominent principals of major accounting, investment and law firms, as well as academic and governmental leaders.
